A Heartfelt Thank You to All Organizers, Partners, and Sponsors for a Successful FISU World University Championship Sport Climbing

The FISU World University Championship in Sport Climbing wrapped up successfully in Koper, Slovenia, despite occasional weather disruptions.
Over the course of four days, more than 260 participants from 27 countries competed, making full use of Koper’s top-notch climbing infrastructure.
The competition featured events in bouldering, speed, and lead climbing, with outstanding performances from some of the world’s best climbers.
Japan and Italy emerged as the most successful teams, securing seven and five medals respectively. Slovenia also celebrated success, with local climber Rosa Rekar taking bronze in the women’s lead climbing event.
Participants praised the hospitality and smooth organization of the championship, noting that all events were completed successfully despite the weather challenges.
